Privacy Policy

This Privacy Policy describes how OffBook Studio ("we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use the OffBook Studio iOS app. We are committed to being straightforward about what data the app uses and why.

Information the App May Process

OffBook Studio may process the following types of information locally on your device or through Apple's services:

• Script and script-related content. When you import a PDF or paste text, that content is processed on-device to parse dialogue and speaker assignments for rehearsal. We do not collect or store your script content on our servers.
• Microphone access. Used when you rehearse or record. The app listens for your spoken cues to advance dialogue during rehearsal mode and captures your audio during recording sessions. Audio is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Camera access. Used when you record a self-tape. Video is saved locally on your device and is not transmitted to us.
• Purchase and subscription status. OffBook Studio uses Apple In-App Purchase to manage subscriptions (OffBook Pro Monthly). Subscription state is verified through Apple's StoreKit framework. We do not receive or store your payment information.
• Analytics and attribution. OffBook Studio uses AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution and analytics provider, to help us understand how the app is discovered and used, measure the effectiveness of our own marketing, and understand events such as app installs, product interactions, trial starts, and subscription conversions. AppsFlyer may process device identifiers and related app-usage information for these purposes. This information does not include your scripts, imported PDF content, rehearsal audio, camera recordings, or self-tape videos.

Camera and Microphone Access

OffBook Studio requests access to your device's camera and microphone only for the Rehearse and Record features. These permissions are used solely to enable in-app functionality — to listen for cue words during rehearsal and to capture video and audio during recording sessions. The app does not access the camera or microphone in the background.

You can revoke these permissions at any time from your iPhone's Settings app under OffBook Studio.

Data We Do Not Collect

OffBook Studio does not:

• Collect or store your scripts, recordings, or imported PDF content on our servers.
• Sell your personal information.
• Use the information it collects for cross-company tracking — that is, to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.
• Display third-party advertising inside the app.
• Track your location.
• Require account registration or store a user profile.

OffBook Studio does share limited information with the third-party service providers described in this policy (such as Apple and AppsFlyer) so they can perform the functions described here — for example, processing payments or measuring the effectiveness of our own marketing. Those providers maintain data according to their own privacy policies.

Third-Party Services

OffBook Studio works with a small number of third-party service providers to operate the app. Each is used for a distinct purpose:

• Apple (StoreKit). OffBook Studio uses Apple In-App Purchase to manage subscriptions (OffBook Pro Monthly). Payment processing and subscription management are handled entirely by Apple. We do not receive or store your payment information. Please review Apple's Privacy Policy at apple.com/legal/privacy for details on how Apple handles transaction data.
• AppsFlyer (attribution and analytics). OffBook Studio uses AppsFlyer to measure app installs, understand the effectiveness of our own marketing campaigns, and measure product usage and conversion events such as trial starts and subscription conversions, as described above under "Analytics and attribution." Advertising Attribution and Privacy

OffBook Studio uses attribution data to measure and improve OffBook Studio's own advertising and marketing campaigns. OffBook Studio does not display third-party advertising inside the app, and we do not request Apple's App Tracking Transparency permission to track you across apps or websites owned by other companies.

OffBook Studio has AppsFlyer's Aggregated Advanced Privacy setting enabled. Under this configuration, applicable attribution and event data for non-consenting iOS users is restricted from being shared with advertising partners at the individual level, and any partner attribution or event reporting is handled using privacy-preserving, aggregated data rather than user-level identifiers.

Children's Privacy

OffBook Studio is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. Continued use of the app after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Data Retention

Scripts, recordings, and other content you create in OffBook Studio remain on your device and under your control; you can delete them at any time within the app or by removing the app. Our third-party service providers (Apple and AppsFlyer) retain data according to their own privacy policies.
